Well, here’s my first entry for the diary.
We should have started filming the previous weekend but due to a bad bout of sciatica (it’s tough getting old) this was the first chance that I risked driving the 180 miles down to Sussex. Friday evening was spent discussing with Stuart how we would be approaching the different aspects of filming the two Garrett aces and how to we manage to shoe-horn it all in a 5 minute DVD.
Saturday morning we were out on the fields with all the gear, and we froze our proverbials off. I thought we had left all the cold and winds behind us on the full length one we did of the XP’s earlier during the year!
Sunday saw us on a local beach and what a difference to the weather, it was a beautiful warm sunny day; although we had to stop filming every now and then whenever someone got a bit curious or just wanted to get in the frame.
Both were ideal locations and we were very pleased with the results. Saturday and Sunday evenings were spent between the editing with Stuart and getting in the way of Kelly who is doing a brilliant job in getting this site up and running.
